World Environment Day Celebration Bamboo Plantation

To celebrate World Environment Day on June 5, 2024, the Faculty of Design and IGBC Student Chapter organized a bamboo plantation event at 9:30 AM at the MUJ Campus construction yard. Bamboo, a fast-growing resource, enhances soil health, sequesters carbon, and supports sustainable development. Dr. G.K. Prabhu, President, inaugurated the event by planting bamboo, followed by other leaders, faculty, and staff. Ten bamboo trees were planted, and Dr. Prabhu highlighted the need for more such initiatives to promote sustainability.
