The evolving landscape of gender and sexuality discourse presents significant challenges and opportunities for societies, institutions, and policymakers. Traditional notions of gender and sexuality have undergone radical re-examination, driven by social movements, academic scholarship, and policy changes worldwide. These shifts necessitate new dialogues that incorporate diverse perspectives, question established norms and reframe policies to be more inclusive and equitable.

Through this seminar, the Department of Arts, SHSS in collaboration with Directorate of Research Manipal University Jaipur seeks to create a platform where scholars, practitioners, and activists can critically engage with these dynamic shifts. Through interdisciplinary exploration, the program aims to provide new frameworks and approaches to better understand and navigate the complexities surrounding gender identity, sexual orientation, and the policies that shape individuals' lived experiences.
