Financial models and valuation methodologies are tools that businesses use to make informed decisions and navigate the complexities of finance. Financial models are mathematical frameworks that use historical data, assumptions, and formulas to analyze and project financial outcomes. Valuation methodologies provide context to financial models by assigning monetary values to assets and companies. Given the importance of the above concepts, department of economics organized an industry expert lecture on the various aspects of financial models and valuation methodologies.
