Details of research work |
The project work deals with conversion of waste tyres into high end
commercial products using advanced thermo-chemical technology integrated with
downstream upgradation techniques. The work requires utilization of this
solid waste for production of high value chemicals and fuel as part of
circular economy. |

Qualification & Eligibility |
B. Tech/M. Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
discipline with 60% marks or 6.5
CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in UG and PG. Eligibility for JRF as per OM DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26th
June 2023 will be applicable. |
Age limit |
Not more than 35
years |
Desirable |
Preference will be given to candidates meeting the
following: · GATE qualified. · Proficiency in
English language. · Knowledge of thermochemical processes and
characterisation of materials. · Publications in peer-reviewed
journals and conferences. |
Duration |
1 year The appointment will be purely temporary
on contract basis. |
Fellowship |
Rs. 37,000/- per
month, plus 18% HRA (as per DST rules) |
